Mr. Kohler began the study of martial arts in 1987 with the Korean Karate Federation in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Mr. Kohler is a member of the Yom Chi Taekwon-Do Association and is affiliated with the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF).  He has attended several seminars and international instructor courses taught by Grandmaster Choi Hong Hi, 9th Degree Black Belt and founder of Taekwon-Do, and Master Choi Jung Hwa, 8th Degree Black Belt and current President of the ITF.  Mr. Kohler is the Senior Instructor and  Majority Owner of Skyline Taekwon-Do in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He is the past National Treasurer and Director of Referees for the Yom Chi Taekwon-Do Association.   Mr. Kohler is currently serving as the National Vice-President, Utah State Technical Director, and a member of the National Board of Trustees of the Yom Chi Taekwon-Do Association.
